Are you a free-reign ski-maniac coming to South America seeking a good time, adventure, and awesome ski-babes? Hop from resort to resort along the Chilean and Argentine Andes and live your dream!
In a Wicked Van, you will have all the transportation you need (without having to smell other people’s wet ski socks on boring old shuttles and buses). You can hire snow chains and a big rack to carry all of your ski gear. You will have the chance to cook your own meals and prepare hot chocolate.
Minimum Hiring Time:
To be able to enjoy the loop, we recommend 10-14 days
Hiring Conditions: Documents to cross to Argentina Obligatory + snow chains (we also recommend the roof rack for more comfort)
Best time to go: From June to September
Advices:
Borders can be closed to cross to Chile or Argentina after heavy snow… Always check out this during your roadtrip to prevent problems!
Some countries have to pay a reciprocity fee to get to Argentina (ex: USA, Canada, Australia, etc).

From Santiago, head to the central ski Resorts of Farellones – Colorado and Valle Nevado. Head down to Pucon and ski on an active volcano (could a trip be any more badass?) and enjoy steaming it up with the lovely Chilean ladies in thousands of hot springs around the area such as “Los Posones,” a super-rad hotspring… and cheap too!.
From Pucon, cross the Andes to Argentina in between a forest of “Araucarias” trees and get stoned with the charm of San Martin de los Andes and Bariloche where you can always find good snow. From Bariloche, head back north to Mendoza, then cross to Chile on a spectacular curving pass at 4,500 meters, where you can enjoy of the Portillo ski resort.
